Truth Be Told, every time I look at my suitcase that I need to unpack…
I am reminded that I still haven’t unpacked my suitcase from my last trip several weeks ago (4 weeks to be exact!).
As my cousin Karen said, I’m suffering from a “vacation hangover” (love that phrase…I am totally stealing it!) and am finding it very difficult to get motivated.

Truth be told, my house is a mess because I have been LAZY the last few days. No excuses here (not valid ones at least). Just lazy. I am not proud of this. Also, there is an internet tech guy coming from the cable company tomorrow to hopefully fix my stupid internet, and so the only reason I'm cleaning tonight is so I don't have to be embarrassed tomorrow.

ReplyDeletetruth be told... i shook off the bathmat, cleaned what i could of dirt and dust, and what i had trouble picking up got swept back under the bathmat. yup.
I am horrible about unpacking too. I love to pack, but when it comes to unpacking, it just doesn't happen!
ReplyDeleteWe just got back from a vacation and had an aha-'mo. Instead of planning and packing and quietly resenting that I have to do it all, I made a deal with husband. All he had to do was unpack, and he actually did it the same evening we came home. Best deal I ever made!
ReplyDeleteNow the dirty laundry pile still left from the vacation is another matter....I swear it's breeding. ;)
