I don't know how all of you working moms do it...I've worked 2 days in a row and I'm beat! It's 9:30 and I'm going to bed. I don't think I've been to bed that early since grade school!
Being a stay at home mom is definitely a lot of work, don't get me wrong. But at least I get to do it in my pj's in the comfort of my own home!
I better start building up my stamina, though. With my husband being off for the summer (he's a teacher) I'm going to be working a lot! Yikes!
Goodnight friends!

My kids go to bed at 8:00 and I'm in bed by 8:05. Otherwise I have no energy for 40 kindergarteners plus my own two kids. 9 days left of school and counting!
ReplyDeleteWhat line of work are you in (when you're not being a SAHM)?

I am glad to be a stay at home mom, and there are days that I am exhausted and have no idea how moms that work and have kids continue to do it. I love being able to stay in my pjs if the day allows it. I worked for a few months when my son was a baby and I was so tired all the time. And then my love for coupons got bigger and I was able to quit working and coupon and stay home with the kids.

I wish I could be a SAHM. It sure is hard to get the housework done around a 40+ hour work week, not to mention getting time in with the little one. We are hoping that I will be able to stay at home in a few years, but we have a few major items to get in line first.
ReplyDeletePS - I like to be in bed by 8:30 p.m. Luckily my 7 month-old likes that bedtime to right now, LOL!

I love being a SAHM too, and it is nice to wake up and prepare dinner in your PJ's, pay the bills, make the phones, the million loads of laundry and don't get me started on the dishes that seem to multiply... geesh...
