The Bold and the Beautiful - My Blog Reviewed

I am so excited to be part of a very unique blog hop. Gail @My Repurposed Life and MeganDVD @ Beauty in the Attempt are hosting “The Bold and the Beautiful-your blog reviewed”.

Please take a look around my blog, check out the layout, pages, buttons, sidebar and gadgets. I would love for you to gently critique my blog. I’m hoping you will leave me some positive feedback about my blog. It would be great if you could give me constructive criticism but be sure to tell me what you like about my blog too! Do you like my pictures? Does my blog load quickly for you? How about the font? All tips and tidbits welcome!

You are welcome to join the party, it starts Thursday night and is open for a week.

  2. I like your blog design. Fonts, colors are great. and everything seems organized and properly labeled. I'm sure your followers are enjoying your tutorials.

    SUGGESTIONS:
    - Your 'search this site' or 'find a project' section since you have it will be more useful is way up top for first time visitors.
    - Your 'Pages' section will also be more useful if it's way up top. Or a nav bar would be better for first time visitors

  4. Charlotte,
Thanks for your kind words and your advice! I moved my "Search" link and "Pages" link up higher. That was a great idea! I hadn't even realized they had gotten buried below all of my other links. Thanks again!

  5. Rebecca-I think your blog is adorable. I like your header and love your background.
Your about me is up top as well as your followers section.
I recommend to everyone that their links open in a new window. It keeps your visitors on your page, not hunting for you through their "back" button. ( you can email me if you want how to's)
I hope it's been a good experience for you!

  6. Very cute blog:) I like that your design is on the side and the main body is white. I also like your profile and statement of intent at the top. Very nice!

  7. Hello me dear! Thank you for linking up to our little blog hop party! I love the colors infused in your blog...so hip and chic...makes me want to hang out with you. :) I love that you and your followers are up top and easy to find. GREAT JOB! My only gentle suggestion is start thinking about incorporating a navi bar. In blogger you can use up to 10 pages for your navi bar. This will allow you to do a "features" link so you can place all of your lovely feature buttons under that link and free up some valuable real estate on your side bar. I am sure you have many more to come with all your talents so think about a navi bar...just test one out. I am all about "testing" and see if I like it. No need to commit...just play with it. I am playing my own header now. Nothing is permanent so give it a trial run...you might be surprised with what else you can place within your navi bar. Have a great Sunday my dear...and I hope I see more of you in my corner of blog world.

    Cheers~
